Olubunmi Davies is a retired Architect and the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Sisi Aladire Enterprises – masters in the art of tie-dye fabric methods – and she will be exhibiting at Wear Nigeria 2024, which showcases Nigeria’s rich textiles and Afrocentric design to the world.

The 2024 edition of Wear Nigeria will take place for from November 08 – 10 as follows:

Day 1: Symposium, Panel Exhibitions and Exhibition

Day 2: Exhibition on Nigerian Fashion & Textile

Day 3: Exhibition, Cultural Performance & Fashion Runway

Locations: Alliance Francaise (Mike Adenuga Centr, Ikoyi. Lagos) + Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island (see poster for details).

NOTES: The tie-dye fabric method is a resist-dyeing technique that involves twisting, folding, or crumpling fabric, then binding it with string or rubber bands before applying dye. The tied areas resist the dye, creating patterns on the fabric once it is untied. The result is a unique pattern of colors and shapes.
