In February 2024, Air Peace disrupted the aviation industry with an announcement that very few people saw coming – it launched a daily Lagos-London (UK) route (taking off on March 30, 2024), therefore becoming the first local airline to go the achieve this feat.
While at it, the company also disclosed heavily discounted fares, which sent its foreign competitors scrambling to review their prices downwards to match AirPeace – a total win for consumers.
As the citizenry were about to digest the slew of goodies emanating from Air Peace, the airline introduced a “Fly-Now-Pay-Later” scheme, which allows prospective passengers purchase the airline’s flight tickets, and pay back over a period of time.
The final release from its marketing arsenal was, perhaps, promoting the Air Peace brand, using high-level Influencers (the Nollywood quartet of Uche Jobmo, Omoni Oboli, Chioma Akpotha and Ufuoma McDermott) – signalling an overall consistent and deliberate plan to appeal to the pockets, hearts and minds of consumers.
