Chioma Favour Uzoma and Favour Oluwatobi Ogedegbe have just scored the first runner-up position at the global BeChangeMaker entrepreneurship Challenge for theirground-breaking solution, an AI-powered app called Medvax Health.
Medvax Health combats the infiltration of counterfeit medications into Africa’s pharmaceutical supply chain.
Both recent graduates of Nigeria’s University of Benin, Chioma and Favour beat 572 teams from 86 countries (including the USA, Morocco and Colombia), eventually securing a place among the top 5 global finalists.
The ladies go home with 5000 Euros and over 1000 Euros-worth of add-ons and mentorship.
