Engr. Nnamdi Ezeigbo (Founder & CEO, SLOT Systems Limited) – an indigenous Telecommunications, Information and Technology Company with over 70 retail stores nationwide and an online store – has won the prestigious FATE Foundation Model Entrepreneur award for the year 2023, for his outstanding vision and excellence. The award was presented by the Chairman of the Foundation and co-founder of GTBank, Mr. Fola Adeola.
Incorporated in 1998, the SLOT brand has become a household name for good quality mobile phones, accessories, laptops, computers, and electronics. Nnamdi Ezeigbo is also the brain behind Tecno, Nigeria’s fastest-selling mobile phone brand.
Ezeigbo also delivered the keynote address at the event, saying: “I dedicate this award to young Nigerian entrepreneurs who are currently navigating the Nigerian business landscape with determination and fortitude. May you overcome the challenges as you find new ways to innovate and adapt. May this provide inspiration and encouragement to other entrepreneurs, too”.
