After a year in beta, GoLemon went live in March 2024 with its eCommerce offering as “the only store you will ever need for all your groceries and home essentials 💚”, and promising an end to grocery hopping across stores and markets.

Co-founder & CEO of GoLemon, Yinka Adewuyi, is now thrilled to share major growth statistics (and a few challenges) for the company.
He says:
A few weeks ago, we crossed N150M in sales [at] GoLemon within 4 months of go-live, serving 7k+ homes in Lagos. We’ve gone from handling & processing 5k unique items in March, to ~30k in June. This is special for me – and I’m thrilled by the trust, patience & especially all the learnings.
Recently, as our volumes significantly scaled, many of our customers experienced delivery delays. It was proof of how much there is to learn. In the last two weeks, 96% of orders have been delivered on time.
We promise to continue to be better as we grow. Thank you for being a part of our story 💚🌹
GoLemon has built a sourcing network connected directly to farmers and manufacturers, which translates to the lowest costs possible to attract a wide customer base.
The GoLemon app allows shoppers create reusable shopping lists, shop with family and friends, request new products, and much more.
