Every holiday season, ever-roaming Africans have asked us (Bank & Entrepreneur Africa) to do a piece on gastronomy. Their question is simple: ‘Where exactly can we find African food vendors when we travel across the UK and the US?’
And so we have chosen to start with Atlanta (USA). Why?
Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) holds the distinction of being the busiest airport in the world, linking 150+ destinations and major hubs like New York City and London (United Kingdom). Many of these passengers are Africans, searching for soul food while away from home.
Our Special Report on 50 African Foodpreneurs will provide distinct coverage of enterprises in the Atlanta metro area – ranging from everyday take-away, to fine dining.
