Adejoke Lasisi is Founder at Planet 3R š – a social enterprise dedicated to converting textile and plastic waste into innovative and eco-friendly products.
Her company was recently commissioned by VivaPlus Detergent to produce 3,000 school bags made from detergent sachet waste.
In reaction, Adejoke said:
It always gives me immense joy whenever I see smiles on the students privilege [sic] to receive our eco-friendly school bags.
Who would have thought detergent waste sachets made these beautiful bags?
I’m really happy with the solution we are creating at Planet 3Rš
We are really grateful with this partnership of making 3,000 school bags with VivaPlus detergent š
Our solution is ensuring quality education accessible to the under-served children in various communities. We look forward to creating more impact āØļø š
While orders have continued to pour in for Lasisi’s innovative products, she’s quick to add:
I just want to encourage someone to give that business of yours time.
I remembered when our highest orders were 20 bags in a month…we don’t even get orders in some months.
We now get thousand of orders for school bags and conference bags.
