The Accelerate Africa Startup Programme 2026 is a pan-African startup support initiative designed to back early-stage founders building scalable, technology-driven solutions to some of Africa’s most pressing challenges.

After over a decade of supporting several Africa focused founding teams, the programme has identified five critical areas of support to focus on, alongside some of the top experts in these fields.
Storytelling: craft a compelling mission, vision and story of impact
People & Ops: assemble, motivate, and lead a high performing team
Go to Market: find your path to the first million dollars in revenue
Product Development: build a product that your customers can’t live without
Fundraising: fundraise from the world’s best investors on demo day
This is not your typical accelerator!
The programme accepts 10 founders who will receive 1:1 support from advisors who have built, advised, invested in and exited multiple successful businesses in Africa.
And unlike most accelerators, Accelerate Africa does not offer funding or take equity upon admittance. The Accelerate Africa fund offers an optional investment to all founders at the end of the program. Further, the fund Future Africa may invest a pre-seed or seed stage check of $250,000 – $500,000 after the program, following a standard investment process, including due diligence and an IC vote.
