The Sony World Photography Awards are calling for submissions from photographers (experienced and amateurs) from all over the world.
The Awards are completely free to enter and open to photographers worldwide, shooting on any device.
Categories
Managed by the World Photography Organisation, the awards are categorised into Professional, Open, Youth, and Student competitions, each catering to photographers at different stages of their careers.
In the Professional competition, photographers submit a series of works, while the Open competition focuses on single images. The Youth competition is dedicated to young photographers under 19, and the Student competition provides a platform for photography students worldwide to gain recognition.
Participants can submit their photos across various genres including Architecture, Landscape, Portraiture, Still Life, and Wildlife & Nature, reflecting the broad spectrum of styles and themes within the field of photography.
Prizes
Top prizes include $25,000 (Professional competition), $5,000 (Open competition), a solo display at the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition in London and globally, top Sony digital imaging equipment, inclusion in the book, worldwide recognition through press and media coverage – plus more!
Winners receive, in addition to the prize money and equipment, flights and accommodation to the awards ceremony in London.
