Congratulations are in order for the NGN5,000,000 grand prize winner of Access Bank’s Womenpreneur Pitch-a-Ton, Ololade Eniola Okedare (Founder & CEO, Emerge Story Company).
Emerge Story Company specialises in refining and polishing the budding storyteller’s narrative, ensuring it captivates audiences and propels their storytelling to new heights, therefore elevating their projects for both big and small screens.
Other Womenpreneur Pitch-a-Ton prize winners received grants, ranging from five women entrepreneurs who got a sum of N500,000 to our four other womenpreneurs who won a grant of N4,000,000 to N1,000,000 respectively.
Says Ololade: “Eight weeks ago, I embarked on a journey alongside other incredible Womenpreneurs, all with the shared dream of taking our businesses to the next level.
“The decision to participate wasn’t an easy one. I knew it would require a significant commitment, dedicating 7 weeks of my time and energy. However, the potential for growth and the opportunity to learn from other talented womenpreneurs was simply too enticing to pass up.
“I poured my heart and soul into developing my pitch throughout the program. But there were moments of doubt. Looking at the diverse and innovative businesses competing, I questioned whether my own venture truly addressed a significant problem.
“But I pushed through, focusing on the unique value my business @emergestorycompany offered. And guess what? It worked!
“Yesterday, I stood amongst inspiring women, each with their own story and vision. And to my absolute delight, I was announced the winner of the 5th Annual Access Bank Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton!
“This victory is not just mine. It belongs to every woman who dared to dream, took a leap of faith, and poured their heart and soul into their businesses. It belongs to those who believed in me, even when I doubted myself. Most importantly, it belongs to @myaccessbank and @thewcommunity for providing this incredible platform for womenpreneurs to flourish.”
In its fifth season, the Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton is one of the biggest women’s business growth platforms in Africa.
